All of the poitevin Marsh extends on approximately 100,000 acres in three departments: Vendée, Deux-Sèvres and Charente-Maritime. The poitevin Marsh is made up of several large entities ecological and landscape related to hydraulic operation. Spread over 15,000 hectares, the wet Marsh is a maze of channels (4000 km) tinged with shades of green. Dried Marsh, s Bay l sting to Marans on the departments of Charente-Maritime and Vendée, and offers a landscape grid straight channel separating by vast prairies.
