We had an excellent stay. The owners were very friendly. The gîte was exactly as advertised, comfortable, and nicely situated at the edge of the village facing corn fields. The gîte was in a great location for day trips in the region -- e.g., Saintes, La Rochelle, Rochefort, Brouage, île d'Oléron
