We particularly liked the quiet rural landscape setting of L’Augerie and having the freedom to explore and enjoy its landed estate, vines and gardens. We also enjoyed the historical character and interest of its buildings, and the comfort, charm and colour in the furnishing of the gite and its garden space; the friendliness and warmth of its owners was much appreciated too. The gite is comfortably within reach of the east bank of the Gironde and the seaside resorts beyond Talmont and attractive towns and countryside in other directions.

Excellent séjour,très reposant dans un beau cadre au cœur des vignobles,bien situé pour découvrir tous les principaux sites touristiques de Haute Saintonge. Mais c'est probablement l'accueil si spontané et chaleureux de Claude-Marie et Philippe, que nous garderons le plus longtemps en souvenir de cette belle région...
